Facility

The demand for our services has continued to grow significantly. In 2007, our Board of Directors launched a Building for Generations Campaign to raise $7.2 million to build a new facility, establish an endowment, and provide a scholarship fund.

The design of the new facility is based on experience gained from operations at our former facility and extensive research performed by the architects, staff, and a Facilities Committee. As a result of these efforts, the new facility’s design incorporates the best information available and has become a model center for those that follow.

Recognizing the importance of including both public and private meeting spaces, our facility provides rooms tailored to meet the needs of the individuals and families it serves.

The long-range plan envisions that after the new facility reaches capacity, satellite centers will be opened in other areas of Houston to serve the increasing numbers of those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease and similar dementia. The new facility houses the central administration that will support each satellite location.
